It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Union Market, and our love only grows as the temperature rises. Whether it’s a Sunday morning stroll through the fabulous Salt & Sundry or a deliciously different lunch from Takorean, a trip to Union Market is sure to be memorable. In the Spring and Summer, they kick things up a notch by bringing the party outdoors. On Friday nights, the parking lot out front is transported back in time and transformed into a drive-in movie theatre! Those with cars will pay a $10 entry fee, and those who choose their own two feet are admitted for free. The movie starts around 8pm, but you’ll want to arrive early as many vendors will be on hand serving up delicious treats. Tasty cocktails served from the 1960’s airstream trailer “Suburbia” add to the retro charm.
This Friday, April 18, the feature film will be National Lampoon’s Vacation. Whether you bring a date, a friend or your family, fun is sure to be had by all! For more information, check out this page.
